Paper, Pens & the Art of Putting Things Down

About

The Daily Nib  ·  Est. 2026

The Daily Nib is a personal blog about stationery, paper, pens, and the small rituals that make everyday life feel a little more beautiful. It started, like most good things, with a single notebook.

I've always been drawn to paper and pens — the weight of a good notebook, the scratch of a fountain pen on smooth paper, the satisfaction of a well-chosen washi tape. What began as a quiet obsession eventually became a collection, and eventually a blog.

Here you'll find honest reviews, personal essays, and the occasional deep dive into the things I'm currently obsessed with — mostly Japanese stationery, fountain pens, planners, and books about writing. There is no right way to use a notebook. That's rather the point.

What you'll find here

Reviews of pens, notebooks, planners, and stationery from around the world. Personal essays on the pleasures of writing by hand. Guides for the curious and the newly obsessed. And occasional gift guides, for when you need to explain to someone why a notebook can cost forty euros and be entirely worth it.
